Luhansk republic leader says gas supply to LPR cut off

It's claimed that the supply was cut off due to a technical breakdown

LUHANSK, February 18. /TASS/. Ukraine has cut off gas supplies to the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic, the republic’s leader, Igor Plotnitsky, said on Wednesday.

"Yesterday, the gas was turned off. They claimed it was a technical breakdown and promised to fix everything," Plotnitsky said, adding that the valve was shut off and a transformer was damaged by gunfire.

Plotnitsky warned Kiev against such actions, noting that the republic could come up with "an adequate response".
