KIEV, February 17. /TASS/. Units of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in Logvinovo and nearby settlements do not give in to provocations and observe the ceasefire, DPR defense ministry spokesman Eduard Basurin told a briefing on Tuesday.
The self-defense forces started negotiations with the Ukrainian forces, Basurin said. The self-defense forces are ready to begin artillery withdrawal in those areas where the Ukrainian forces are observing the ceasefire, the minister added.
"We intend to start artillery withdrawal in the areas along the disengagement line where the Ukrainian side observes the Minsk agreements," he noted. "We insist on Ukraine to observe the Minsk agreements along the line of confrontation and once again offer Ukrainian forces to exit Debaltsevo without weapons," Basurin said.
