LUHANSK, February 16. /TASS/. Kiev forces have sheeled the town of Zorinsk located in the territory controlled by the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic, reported Sergey Ivanushkin, head of the unrecognized republic's emergencies ministry.
A strike from the Uragan multiple launch rocket system [MLRS] was delivered on the city of Zorinsk at 04:30," Ivanushkin said.
"At least one person died and one was wounded," he said.
Ivanushkin said mobile communications with the city have been disrupted.
"LPR Emergencies Ministry units have discovered elements of two MLRS rockets on one of the city streets," he said.
Emergencies Ministry and law enforcement representatives are currently working on the site. They are "involved in documenting the fact of the shelling," he said.
