MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. A blast in the centre of Donetsk killed at least two people, Deputy Commander of the Defence Ministry’s Corps of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Eduard Basurin told TASS by phone on Saturday.
"Preliminary reports say two people died," he said. "The number of injured is being specified as people have been taken to hospitals in ambulances and by witnesses."
The Donetsk news agency said the blast rocked the trolleybus stop in Teatralny Avenue several minutes before the beginning of DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko’s news conference held nearby.
