Shell hits bus stop in downtown Donetsk, killing one, wounding two

The shelling also damaged two buses, the roof of the bus station’s building and the nearby supermarket

MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. At least one person was killed and two others were injured on Wednesday when a shell hit a bus stop in downtown Donetsk, the emergencies ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people’s republic said.

"At around 8 a.m. (local time) one of the shells hit a bus stop "Center" when Ukrainian troops shelled the city. One person was killed and another two were wounded," a spokesperson for the ministry said.

The shelling also damaged two buses, the roof of the bus station’s building and the nearby supermarket.

In late January, the shelling by the Ukrainian military forces of a public transport stop killed 13 and left other 20 wounded in the war-torn Donetsk.
