KIEV, February 6. /TASS/. A humanitarian corridor was organized in Debaltsevo (eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region), and evacuation of civilians has begun, aide to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry Zoryan Shkiryak wrote on his page on Facebook on Friday.
"The ‘green corridor’ from Debaltsevo has just been confirmed. We are evacuating people," he wrote.
On Thursday, spokesman for the defense ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Eduard Basurin said the Ukrainian military authorities agreed with the DPR and confirmed a ceasefire starting 09:00 a.m. on Friday. He said beginning 11:00 a.m. local time, civilians will be taken from Debaltsevo to Gorlovka or Artemovsk along a humanitarian corridor.
