KIEV, February 5. /TASS/. A man was killed in a maternity clinic in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, western Ukraine, as he blew up a grenade, a local prosecutor said on Thursday.

The prosecutor said that the man who had visited the conflict zone in south-east Ukraine several times could have attempted to kill his wife because of jealosy.

The wife who works at the clinic was hospitalised in a grave condition, he added.
