HONGKONG, February 05. /TASS/. The death toll of Wednesday's ATR-72-600 plane crash in Taipei has risen to 32 people, according to latest official reports.
Fifteen people survived the crash, another eleven are still missing. Dozens of divers are looking for them in the cold water of the river the plane crashed into. It hasn't been ruled out that some bodies could have been carried away by the stream.
The ATR-72 plane of the local TransAsia Airways air company shortly after take-off hit a motorway overpass and crashed into a river on the outskirts of Taipei.
There were 53 people on board, including two children, five crew members and three dozen tourists.
