CAIRO, February, 2. /TASS/. A court in Egypt has sentenced to death 183 people over the attack against police officers.
In 2013, in the midst of the confrontation between army and Islamists, an audacious attack against a police station was held in the suburbs of Cairo, Kerdasa, after the dismissal of the Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi.
A group of armed people shot dead 13 police officers including the head of the department, having used grenade launchers and sub-machine guns.
An overall number of those condemned is 188 individuals, 37 of which are in hiding. One person was discharged and another was prisoned for 10 years. An inquiry regarding another two men was stopped because of their death.
