BERLIN, January 22. /TASS/. Berlin talks of the foreign ministers of the so-called “Normandy Quartet” comprising Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France have ended.
The three-hour meeting that took place at Villa Borsig, official guest house of the German foreign ministry, was focusing on the settlement in Ukraine.
The German DPA news agency said citing a source in the German delegation that progress had been achieved at the foreign ministers’ meeting in the “Normandy format.” The source said the ministers had negotiated a joint statement.
At the same time, a Western source told TASS that atmosphere was difficult at the foreign minister's talks in the "Normandy format.".
