LUHANSK, January 19. /TASS/. Transport links between Ukraine and the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) are completely closed, the republic’s Deputy Transport Minister Andrey Kogut said on Monday.
“In the morning, the Ukrainian side closed the crossing for passenger buses from the LPR to Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Stanitsa Luhanskaya. There is information about two buses that left Luhansk and had to return, he said.
Kiev’s actions seriously complicated work of transport in the LPR, Kogut said.
The Luhansk Region Governor Gennady Moskal said earlier on Monday that all passenger and freight transport moving from and to the LPR was turned back at Ukrainian armed forces’ checkpoints.
