DONETSK, January 18. /TASS/. Five civilians were killed in shelling in the city of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine on Sunday, the press service of the city administration said.
“As of 18:00 local time, shelling of Donetsk districts by the Ukrainian armed forces continues,” the press service said.
Earlier on Sunday, an adviser to the Ukrainian president, Yuri Biryukov, said the Ukrainian military had been ordered to open heavy fire at the positions of militias in the zone of the force operation in southeastern Ukraine.
Later, the DPR confirmed that the city of Donetsk had been shelled from all types of weapons by the Ukrainian troops.
