VIENNA, January 16./Tass/. The Contact Group on Ukraine held a preparatory meeting in Kiev on Thursday and waits from all parties in the process of negotiations confirmation of the attendance of a next round of talks in Minsk, says its statement circulated by the OSCE.
“As a follow-up to the meeting of the four Ministers of Foreign Affairs in the “Normandie format” of 12 January 2015 in Berlin, the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), consisting of senior representatives of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, met today in Kyiv in preparation for the planned consultations of the TCG with representatives of certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in Minsk,” said the statement.
“The TCG stands ready for these consultations and is waiting for the confirmation of the attendance of all signatories of the Minsk agreements,” it said.
