OSCE representatives come under fire near Mariupol, south-east Ukraine

According to the deputy head of OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, it is early to say that Minsk agreements are fully implemented

DONETSK, January 15. /TASS/. Representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) came under fire near Mariupol, deputy head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug said Thursday.

"An incident with our patrol has been registered. Our patrol came under direct fire which was delivered from yet unidentified positions," he said responding to a reporter's question about whether the mission notes violations of the ceasefire.

"No-one was hurt, the car was not damaged either," Hug added.

He also noted that there were fightings during the day initiated by both sides, adding that it is early to say that Minsk agreements are fully implemented.
