MOSCOW, January 15. /TASS/. Preparations for a meeting of Russian, Ukrainian, French and German leaders are underway, but no date has been set yet, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.

“Active preparations for such a meeting are in progress. When the date is clear, we will let you know,” Peskov said.

He left unanswered the question if it was probable that the meeting would take place by the end of the month.

Earlier on Thursday, Kazakhstan’s presidential service said after a telephone conversation between President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Ukraine’s Petro Poroshenko that a Normandy format meeting of the leaders of Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine might take place at the end of January.
