MOSCOW, January 12. /TASS/. The resumption of shooting in south-eastern Ukraine whatever it comes from does not facilitate the settlement of the situation and creates new problems, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said on Monday.

“The shooting resumes in south-eastern Ukraine after the New Year and Christmas holidays. Ukraine says it’s militias as you call them that are doing this. I name them separatists. I’d like to see a report by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission. No need to jump to conclusions,” Rinkevics said.

“I believe that such activity no matter where the fire comes from does not facilitate the settlement,” he said.
