KIEV, January 6. /TASS/. The death toll of a road accident involving fighters of the Ukrainian National Guard in the military operation zone in the east of the country has risen to 13, Ukraine’s Public TV reported on Tuesday.

According to the TV channel, “one more fighter died of injuries during the night. Thus, the death toll of the road accident has risen to 13.” In addition, 18 people have been injured.

A KRAZ military vehicle and Bogdan bus collided near the Mankovka village in the Donetsk region on January 5 due to poor visibility. The National Guard press service said the accident occurred “during the rotation of the volunteers and contract servicemen with the Ukrainian National Guard.”.
