MOSCOW, December 29. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier have held a telephone conversation to discuss the situation in Ukraine in the wake of the December 24 meeting of the Contact Group, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
“The discussion was continued of the current march of events in Ukraine after the latest Contact Group meeting in Minsk and the exchanges of the prisoners of war carried out by the conflicting parties,” the Foreign Ministry said. “The two men stressed the need for further efforts to enforce compliance with the Minsk Accords and for the establishment of a pan-Ukrainian dialogue in order to settle the crisis in Ukraine.”.
