Kiev has no plans to use blockade of Crimea as element of pressure in talks on Donbas

KIEV, December 29. /TASS/. Kiev does not plan to use blockade of Crimea as an element of pressure in talks on Donbass, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said at a press conference.

“There’s no blockade of Crimea, there are measures to ensure Ukraine’s security from subversive groups,” Poroshenko said.

Crimea has recently experienced several power outages when Ukraine limited electricity supplies to the republic. Moreover, there is a ban on on railway traffic with the peninsula imposed by Kiev authorities, and passengers have to get off the trains at the Russian-Ukrainian border and then take a bus.
