No data on next Contact Group meeting - Donetsk republic envoy

“It is still unknown in what format the meeting will be held - with the participation of members of the Contact Group or by using the Internet, for example Skype,” Denis Pushilin said

MOSCOW, December 27. /TASS/. The self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic has no data when the regular meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine can be held, the Donetsk republic’s plenipotentiary envoy at the talks in Minsk said on Saturday.

“It is still unknown in what format the meeting will be held - with the participation of members of the Contact Group or by using the Internet, for example Skype,” Denis Pushilin said.

“All will depend on the initiators of the meeting - Minsk and Russian representatives. Till now no information has been gotten,” he said.

Earlier, Pushilin said the Contact Group had only agreed on the prisoner swap at the latest meeting in Minsk on December 24. “There is progress in other issues. But no decision has been taken,” he said.

The prisoner exchange between Kiev and the Donetsk republic was held in the town of Yasinovataya, north of Donetsk, on December 26.
