MOSCOW, December 26. /TASS/. Ukraine was repeatedly invited to join the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the military alliance set up by countries from the post-Soviet space is still ready to cooperate with Kiev, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel on Friday.
“We invited Ukraine many times (to join the CSTO) before these events,” Bordyuzha said, specifying that the organization had offered to Kiev cooperation in information security, in the fight against drug trafficking and in other spheres.
“If they express their willingness, we will work together. If no, we have our problems and we succeed in resolving them,” he said in conclusion.
