MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed Russia’s proposal to hold contacts between the Syrian authorities and the opposition in Moscow with head of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party of Syria Salih Muslim on Thursday.
“During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of the situation in Syria and around it and Russia’s proposal to hold consultations in Moscow between the Syrian government and the opposition in order to prepare negotiations on the base of the Geneva communique of June 30, 2012,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
