KIEV, December 22. /TASS/. Ukraine and Kazakhstan are resuming military-technical cooperation, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said after a meeting with his Kazakhstani counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev on Monday.

“We’re resuming military-technical cooperation in full,” Poroshenko said.

Nazarbayev showed interest in Ukraine’s experience of building armoured vehicles. “The experience and potential of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex will be used to increase defense capability of Kazakhstan,” he said.

After the talks Ukraine and Kazakhstan reached agreements on strengthening cooperation in the energy sector, machine-building, aircraft engineering, space and in the military-technical field, the Ukrainian presidential press service said.

Nazarbayev invited Poroshenko and the Ukrainian delegation to visit the EXPO 2017 exhibition in Astana. He also called for creating a forum of businessmen of both countries.
