MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Top diplomats of Russia and Germany Sergey Lavrov and Frank-Walter Steinmeier noted the Contact Group on Ukraine should have a next meeting in the near future, Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday after the telephone conversation between the ministers.
“Developing telephone talks between leaders of Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine held in the Normandy format on December 16 intensive exchange of views on the current situation in Ukraine and ways to settle the conflict in that country was continued,” the diplomatic agency noted.
In this context, the ministers noted “the Contact Group should have a next meeting in the near future and inclusive intra-Ukrainian dialogue should be established.”
Among top priorities the ministers noted “humanitarian needs of civilians in the conflict region,” the foreign political agency said.
