BRUSSELS, December 19. /TASS/. It is impossible to stabilise the situation in Ukraine unless the European Union works out an adequate strategy towards Russia, European Council President Donald Tusk said on Friday.
“We will not find a long-term solution for Ukraine without an adequate and consistent, both tough and responsible, strategy toward Russia,” Tusk said after an EU summit in Brussels, adding that the bloc would continue its discussion in March 2015.
A European diplomatic source told TASS earlier in the day that the European Union would revise its sanctions against Russia next spring.
