Tehran positive about progress of nuclear negotiations — deputy FM

“The dialogue that is conducted is complex and serious, but it has a positive nature anyway,” Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said

TEHRAN, December 17. /TASS/. Tehran is positive about the progress of the negotiations with the six world powers (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) on the Iranian nuclear problem, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said at a news conference at TASS on Wednesday.

“The existing trend at the negotiations with the Sextet is positive,” he added.

“The dialogue that is conducted is complex and serious, but it has a positive nature anyway,” the diplomat said. “If the opposite side displays a logical and positive approach, abandoning their exacting stance, Tehran is set to reach a serious agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue.”

“The ball is in the opposite side’s court now,” Hossein Amir Abdollahian said.
