VIENNA, December 8. /TASS/. Agreements on a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine will come into force at 09:00 a.m. on December 9, the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) said in its daily update for December 7.

The OSCE monitors said chiefs of the Joint Center for Control Coordination (JCCC) have reached an agreement on terms of ceasefire that is to come into force on December 9.

In mid-November, the OSCE mission said that representatives of the Joint Center for Control Coordination had agreed a schedule of troops’ pullout from the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine. The plan provides for three stages - a two-day truce, pullout of heavy weapons within five days and disengagement of forces along the contact line in conformity with the Minsk memorandum within 21 days.
