Shelling caused damage to civilian buildings and a kindergarten

VIENNA, December 5. /TASS/. Four people were killed in the village of Komsomolsk in eastern Ukraine as it came under shelling on December 2, the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) said in its daily update posted on its website on Friday.

“In Komsomolsk, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) - controlled territory (120 kilometres south-east of Donetsk), the SMM met with the mayor who said that on December 2, at 12:00hrs the village was shelled, which caused damage to civilian buildings and a kindergarten. He said that three women and one man died,” the document says.

According to the document, the mission visited the local hospital and met the director “who said three women (age 23, 27 and 34) and one man (68 years old), were killed as a result of the shelling.”.
