NATO delegation to visit Georgia for talks on implementing cooperation package

NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative to the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai is to meet with Georgia’s Prime Minister, the government members, lawmakers and NGOs

TBILISI, December 4. /TASS/. A NATO delegation will pay a visit to Georgia in the coming days, the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative to the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai told reporters on Thursday.

The visit schedule envisages implementation of the cooperation package adopted by Georgia and NATO at the Wales Summit.

Within the framework of the visit, Appathurai is to hold meetings with Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili, the government members, lawmakers and non-governmental organizations.
