SEOUL, December 3. /TASS/. North Korea has banned citizens from naming their children after the country's leader, Kim Jong-un, the South Korean Yonhap agency reported on Wednesday.

Under a directive of the North Korean government, all citizens named Kim Jong-un should be given new names, Yonhap said.

Kim Jong-un came to power in late 2011 after the death of his father, Kim Jong-il.
