KHARKIV, December 3. /TASS/. The first four trucks carrying the debris of Malaysia’s MH17 flight that crashed near Donetsk in mid-July, have departed from the Kharkiv region in eastern Ukraine, the local administration said on Wednesday.

“All the necessary procedures related to the customs processing of the mentioned cargo have been carried out by the Kharkiv customs officers on time and on full scale, in line with the current legislation of Ukraine and Kingdom of the Netherlands,” the statement reads.

The Kharkiv regional administration said that another eight trucks have arrived in the region to be loaded and sent to the final destination. The evacuation effort is expected to be completed on December 8.

The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed on July 17 in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region, some 60 km (over 37 miles) from the Russian border, in the zone of combat operations between the Donetsk self-defense forces and the Ukrainian army. All the 298 passengers and crewmembers onboard the aircraft died. Most of the passengers were Dutch citizens.
