BERLIN, November 30. /TASS/. The conflict in Ukraine, as well as the disputes about it between Russia and the West cannot be settled short-term, Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in an interview with ZDF television channel.
“I keep saying: it may take only 14 days to provoke a conflict, but it may take 14 years to settle it,” he said.
The German foreign minister called “major” the disputes with Russia concerning the Ukrainian crisis, and then nodded in response to the question whether the current conflict may “last for 14 years.”.
