MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, the Kremlin press service said, adding that the conversation was initiated by the Iranian side.
“The two leaders discussed the situation around the Iranian nuclear programme. They noted considerable progress reached at the meeting of foreign ministers of the P5+1 group of international mediators (five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council) and Iran that has just ended in Vienna,” the press service said.
Putin and Rouhani stressed “the importance of further constructive cooperation in order to reach final agreements on the Iranian nuclear programme and prepare a relevant document,” the press service said.
