President Rouhani says Vienna talks helped Iran, world powers bring closer their positions

According to the Iranian president, many differences were bridged during the talks in Vienna

TEHERAN, November 24. /TASS/. Iran and the P5+1 group of international mediators (five members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany) have managed to bring closer their positions on Iran’s nuclear problem at the Vienna round of talks, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in an interview with the state television channel IRIB-1 on Monday.

“Many differences were bridged during the talks in Vienna, our positions with the leading powers (the P5+1 group) have become closer,” he said.
