Iran-Sextet final document should guarantee conflict is exhausted - Steinmeier

“If we fail to do so, we shall bear the responsibility for having lost an opportunity to put an end to the conflict,” the German foreign minister said

VIENNA, November 22. /TASS/. The final document of the Iran-Sextet talks should guarantee the conflict is exhausted, Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said on arrival in Vienna on Saturday.

The parties have not reached agreement on all the aspects for adopting an agreement, he said.

“Shall we reach an agreement; here are more speculations than conditions or proofs,” he said. “We should watch how on the coming days the negotiations will progress, and we shall be doing everything to achieve the result.”

“If we fail to do so, we shall bear the responsibility for having lost an opportunity to put an end to the conflict,” the German foreign minister said.
