DONETSK, November 17. /TASS/. Another round of exchange of the prisoners of war in the "17 for 17" format has been held between the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in eastern Ukraine and the Kiev authorities, head of DPR’s committee on prisoners of war and refugees, Daria Moroz, told TASS on Monday.
“We released 17 hostages last Friday and received 17 DPR citizens in return”, she said, adding that all the prisoners, released by the republic, were Ukrainian army officers.
The official pointed to the fact that health conditions of the released DPR citizens were very poor, as they had been beaten and one of them even had developed gangrene.
