BRUSSELS, November 17. /TASS/. EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said on Monday she intended to visit Moscow in order to step up the dialogue with Russia.
Mogherini said several European ministers asked her to visit Russia.
She considered the ministers' move the strive for stepping the dialogue with Russia that had never been closed.
The visit should be well prepared. This should not be the visit for the sake of the visit. It is necessary to take several steps towards promoting the Ukrainian settlement, Mogherini said.
She did not specify the date of the visit. At the same time, a diplomatic source in Brussels told TASS that the trip might be held within the following weeks.
