BEIJING, November 17. /TASS/. A team of 163 medics of China's National Liberation Army has arrived in Liberia to open an Ebola virus treatment centre, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
The center will start operating on November 25, the spokesman said calling it a unique project among international Ebola aid campaigns.
In late October, Chinese leader Xi Jinping pledged to provide $81.3 million aid to help fight Ebola in the most affected countries, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
