Ukrainian, Slovak presidents discuss situation in Ukraine, energy problems

Poroshenko arrived in the Slovak capital city Bratislava to attend a summit of the heads of state of the Visegrad Group

PRAGUE, November 16. /TASS/. Presidents Andrej Kiska of Slovakia and Pyotr Poroshenko of Ukraine met on Sunday in Bratislava to discuss the situation in Ukraine and energy-related problems, press secretary of the Slovak head of state Roman Krpelan told TASS.

“The meeting between the two presidents lasted 45 minutes. The two leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine and energy problems,” he said, adding that a more detailed account of the meeting would be available later.

Poroshenko arrived in the Slovak capital city Bratislava to attend a summit of the heads of state of the Visegrad Group (Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic), where he had been invited as a guest. On Saturday, Poroshenko had talks with Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico.
