KIEV, November 11. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday the attorney general of the Netherlands was expected to visit the site of the downed Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine to join criminal investigation.
“In the course of an investigation into the attack on the Malaysian airline, the parties have agreed that the next step is to launch a criminal investigation to hold those responsible to account. For this purpose, the attorney general of the Netherlands will probably come to Ukraine soon,” the ministry's spokesman Yevgen Perebeynis said after talks between the foreign ministers of Ukraine and the Netherlands.
The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777, flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was brought down in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region on July 17, killing all 298 passengers and crew on board, including 193 Dutch nationals.
