VILNIUS, November 10. /TASS/. A Lithuanian citizen has been charged with espionage for Belarus, Deputy Prosecutor General Darius Raulusaitis said on Monday.

“A person who was arrested in this case carried out intelligence tasks of Belarusian special services,” Raulusaitis said.

Another Lithuanian citizen has been detained in connection with the case. The preparatory inquiry is nearing completion, Raulusaitis said. “The case will be taken to court in the near future,” he added.

The case consists of seven books, about 1,300 different documents and 26 video- and audio recordings, the deputy prosecutor general said.

One of the suspects worked at a state enterprise connected with the Air Control Service, Raulusaitis said.
