KIEV, November 7. /TASS/. Ukraine’s cabinet of ministers on Friday ordered ministries and agencies to make a list of settlements in eastern Ukraine that are not controlled by the Kiev authorities to stop financing budget-reliant institutions in these settlements.
A document to this effect posted on the official website of the Ukrainian government says budgetary financing to these will be resumed only when these territories are back under official Kiev control.
The cabinet also instructed a number of ministries concerned to draft a law on establishing a mechanism of payment of debts for energy sources supplied to uncontrolled territories from funds allocated for payment of social benefits and subsidies in these territories.
