Donetsk militias thwart Ukraine army attempts to break their defenses — first vice-premier

The self-proclaimed republic's first vice-minister says there were two attempts to break the frontline

DONETSK, November 6 /TASS/. The Ukraine army has made an attempt to break through the demarcation line, which separates them from the positions of militia forces of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the republic’s deputy prime minister, Ravil Khalikov, told Tass on Thursday.

“We have registered two attempts to break the frontline. They are posing no threat to the general security situation. We are going to cope with it,” Khalikov said without specifying in what places the attempts had been made.

The militias repelled both attacks.
