In late October the international human rights organization Human Rights Watch headquartered in New York said the Ukrainian Armed Forces used cluster bombs in the populated areas of Donetsk region and violated international laws prohibiting use of such munitions. This can be described as war crimes, Human Rights Watch said.
Human rights activists said Ukrainian security forces delivered strikes on residential quarters with the use of the Uragan and Smerch multiple launch rocket systems.
