Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman Dmitry Mironchik said it's a priority for Belarus that the peace process in eastern Ukraine is completed successfully in strict compliance with the Minsk agreements.
Commenting on the November 2 elections in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, he said Belarus confirmed readiness to contribute in every way to making “the peace process irreversible”.
Speaking about a possibility of holding regular consultations of the Contact Group for the settlement of the situation in Ukraine, Mironchik said Belarus is ready for any events to ensure the peace process in resolving this issue.
