LONDON, October 6. /TASS/. Britain's Daily Mail tabloid has disclosed the name of the US navy seal that killed Osama Bin Laden. According to an article published on Thursday, it was one Rob O'Neill.

O'Neill claims to have shot Bin Laden thrice in the head, the daily reports.

US TV company Fox News earlier reported its intention to disclose the name of the soldier in a program on November 11 or 12. O'Neill is supposed to take part in the program and tell about details of the special operation that resulted in liquidation of Bin Laden.

Rob O'Neill participated in more than 400 missions and was decorated 52 times.

His father Tom O’Neill said that they are not afraid to become targets of the Islamic State movement.
