DONETSK, November 5. /TASS/. Two children have died in shelling at a school in the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, the press service of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Interior Ministry said on Wednesday.
“An artillery shell hit the building of School №63. At that moment children were playing football in the front of the school. They died because of shrapnel wounds,” the press service said.
On October 1, Ukrainian security forces attacked another school. According to the ministry’s press service, the shelling left three people dead and seven injured. On the day of new school year the Donetsk authorities decided not to organize solemn ceremonies at schools in the Kievsky, Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts.
