LUHANSK, November 4. /TASS/. Igor Plotnitsky has officially taken office as head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).
Plotnitsky swore allegiance to the republic at a solemn ceremony in the column hall of the former regional council in front of representatives of the public and LPR leadership, a TASS correspondent reported.
People’s Council head Alexey Karyakin, Council of Ministers chairman Gennady Tsypkalov, government members and Central Election Commission head Sergey Kozyakov were present, just as representatives of people’s police, Cossacks and the public council under the republic’s head.
