LONDON, November 1. /TASS/. British Royal Air Force’s Eurofighter Typhoons have been scrambled to intercept a Russian strategic bomber Tupolev Tu-95 ("Bear" in NATO classification, the UK Ministry of Defence said on Saturday.

The ministry’s spokeswoman told Tass that the incident took place last Friday when “the pilots visually identified the Russian aircraft and escorted them through the UK flight information region."
