BRUSSELS, October 30 /TASS/. Ukraine expects all gas documents to be signed on Thursday, Yuri Prodan, Ukraine’s Minister of Energy and Coal Industry, told journalists.

“There is great probability that all the documents are going to be signed today,” he said.

The participants in trilateral gas negotiations between Ukraine, Russia and the European Union need to conclude an agreement on temporary gas deliveries to Ukraine until the end of March 2015 that includes the terms of payment of over 5 billion dollars which Ukraine owes to Gazprom; coordination of a price of 385 U.S. dollars per 1,000 cubic meters of gas /for the winter period/ and determining how much gas Ukraine will need over that time.

Russia wants EU to give financial guarantees that Ukraine is going to pay for the Russian gas.
